Attorneys

James N. Hull

James HullJim Hull was born on December 11, 1948 and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in October of 1975. Since that time, he has practiced collection litigation almost exclusively. A native Houstonian, Mr. Hull attended undergraduate school at the University of Texas where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. His Doctor of Jurisprudence degree was obtained at Bates College of Law at the University of Houston in 1975 where he was a member of the Order of the Baron.

Mr. Hull is a member of the Houston Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Commercial Law League of America and the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys. Since 1975, the focus of his practice has been creditor's rights and commercial and consumer litigation and collections.

Stephanie Briggs Donaho

Stephanie Briggs DonahoStephanie Briggs Donaho is a native Houstonian, and attended Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Management.  Upon graduation, Mrs. Donaho returned to Houston, Texas to attend South Texas College of Law.  She obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2006.  While obtaining her J.D., Mrs. Donaho was a judicial intern for the First Court of Appeals, and also volunteered for the Texas Attorney General, Consumer Protection Division.

Mrs. Donaho is a member of the Houston Bar Association, the Houston Young Lawyers Association, and The Junior League of Houston, Inc.  One hundred percent of her practice is devoted to litigation, specifically creditor and commercial litigation.  She has successfully tried cases all over the state of Texas, and participated in numerous appeals.  In addition, she has resolved matters in alternative methods of dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration in front of the American Arbitration Association.

Andrew E. Lemanski

Andrew  E. LemanskiMr. Lemanski graduated from the University of Michigan with degrees in physics and astronomy.  He then did graduate work for a year in Ph.D. program for astrophysics at Rice University before going to law school at South Texas College of Law and becoming a trial lawyer.  During law school, Mr. Lemanski participated in varsity moot court and interned for both state and federal courts. 

Mr. Lemanski is licensed to practice law in Texas state courts and the federal courts for the Southern and Western districts of Texas.  Since he graduated from law school, Mr. Lemanski has helped many clients find justice at the courthouse.  Mr. Lemanski primarily handles cases involving commercial litigation, construction litigation, collections, real estate fraud, employment law, civil rights and constitutional law, personal injury and premises liability.  Mr. Lemanski has handled numerous trials and has extensive first chair jury trial experience.  Mr. Lemanski has also handled many appeals, including successful appeals to the Supreme Court of Texas.  Mr. Lemanski enjoys helping law students develop and judges both regional and national moot court and mock trial competitions.

Charles Lund

Collections Manager/Senior Investigator

Charles LundMr. Lund has 41 years in the collection industry starting with four years with a major international collection agency, followed by seven years with another collection law firm and has been the Senior Investigator and Collection Manager with Hull and Associates for 30 years. During this time period, Mr. Lund has developed a long relationship with Constables and Sheriffs throughout the state of Texas.

The firm maintains a staff of investigators whose primary functions are to obtain payments for our clients, develop information regarding financial conditions and disputes to allow the appropriate decisions to be made regarding pursuit of claims.

The collectors/investigators have an average of more than 20 years each with backgrounds in banking, shipping, leasing, credit cards and agency management. Our collectors/investigators are flexible enough to meet the varied needs and requirements that our clients demand and deserve.  All collectors/investigators are required to take and pass a FDCPA course before they make the first call.
